Iron

Pair IV · flesh-side

Iron is the element of metal, edges and things that last. It rings the cleanest note of anything. Its home is Stone, which can hold great heat.

Iron is what stays: material, edge, temper and endurance. Strike it and it rings the cleanest note of anything.

Its presence is Stone, which carries a little Fire and can hold great heat. In a country built on silt, Stone is the one thing that doesn't move.

Iron is a flesh-side. It will cut whatever it's pointed at, and all harm runs through a flesh-side.
