Pere

Water then Fire · the Called of the water village

Pere is the Called of the water village, holding Water and then Fire. He is bringing Fire home to a village whose forge went cold. One day he may be its Post.

Pere holds Water then Fire: River and Flame, the water village's own pair. That makes him its Post in waiting, though nobody has recognised him yet.

He is the Called who brings Fire home, to a village whose forge went cold when the rite wore down from three jars to one.

Flame carries a little Iron, so it can bend metal, and his forge with its cracked anvil is where you see it. His story is told in the Land of Water cycle.
